Richland Carrousel Park will close New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31, at 3 p.m. and will be closed for Maintenance Week during the first week of January. The Carrousel will re-open Friday, Jan. 9, at 11 a.m.
During Maintenance Week, the four black cables above the Carrousel will be replaced and some of the animals will be refurbished by sanding, painting, sanding, varnishing, sanding, etc. The refurbishing of the animals requires many steps to be properly completed. By maintaining the Carrousel mechanism and refurbishing the animals in a continuous manner, it ensures that the Carrousel will continue to be a cornerstone gem in downtown Mansfield bringing delight to children and adults of all ages.
