Peggy J. Saunders, 69, of Galion, died Saturday, December 20, 2014 at her home.
Peggy was born in Columbus, OH on July 11, 1945 to the late George F. and Dora E. (Monk) Deckling, Sr. She married Kenneth R. Saunders on July, 17, 1965 in Larue, Ohio and he survives her.
She was retired from Dollar General and had previously owned PJ’s General Store in Galion. She enjoyed sewing and reading. She was very proud of her family and her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son Kenneth (Shelly) Saunders, Jr., her two daughters Anissa Saunders and Amanda Saunders, all of Galion, her eight grandchildren; Chad M. (Amanda) Danielsen and Bjorno K. Danielsen both of whom are serving in the Marine Corps, Patrick J. Burns, Jr, Ethan M. Burns, Abbegail C. Burns, Kaleb R. Saunders, Mason Reid and Emily F. Saunders, her great granddaughter Ryleigh K. Danielsen, and her three brothers; Jimmy (Tara) Deckling of Kenton, John (Joyce) Deckling of Shelby and Benny Deckling of Galion.
She was preceded in death by her four brothers George, Dick, Bob and Ray Deckling and her mother-in-law Orma Faye Reebel Saunders.
