Boston Street in Galion. The basis of the search warrant was to put an end to an extensive drug trafficking operation at this location.

Officers apprehended three individuals inside the residence during the initial search. While conducting the search of the residence, officers seized over $3,000 in cash, a 9 mm assault rifle, an Airsoft gun that appeared to be a real handgun, a large quantity of suspected heroin, other undetermined drugs, drug paraphernalia and surveillance equipment used by the occupants of the residence.

Arrested and taken to the Crawford County Jail awaiting formal charges from the Crawford County Prosecutor are: Kevin James, Marion, Ohio, age 23; Daevon Gray, Marion, Ohio, age 23; and Danielle Davis, Marion, Ohio, age 27.

“A lot of hard work by our department paid off today. Our officers were able to blend citizen complaints, information on our TIPS Line together with officer observations and an extensive investigation into solid information that led to these arrests. The execution of the search warrant by members of our department along with the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, Bucyrus Police Department, Galion Fire and EMS and the METRICH Drug Task Force should send a strong message to our community that all law enforcement in Crawford County is standing together in our fight against illegal drug activity.” said Chief Brian Saterfield.

The criminal investigation will be sent to the Crawford County Prosecutor for review for criminal charges. The case remains under investigation.
