The Ohio Department of Transportation has released its construction report for the week of Nov. 10.

Ashland County

State Route 89

SR 89, one-quarter-mile south of Township Road 1500 in Perry Township, is closed for a culvert replacement. The detour route for northbound motorists is SR 89 to US Route 30, west on US 30 to State Route 60, north on SR 60 to US Route 42, north on US 42 to US Route 250, east on US 250 to SR 89 and reverse for southbound motorists. The road is expected to reopen on Nov. 14.

Crawford County

State Route 61/State Route 309

SR 61/SR 309 (Portland Way South) from Harding Way to Grove Avenue in the City of Galion is under construction as part of the rehabilitation and widening project. One lane of traffic is maintained in each direction. The project is expected to be complete in late November 2014.

State Route 598, just north of State Route 19 in the City of Galion, is closed for bridge reconstruction as part of this project. The detour route for northbound motorists is SR 598 to State Route 19, west on SR 19 to State Route 602, north on SR 602 to US Route 30, east on US 30 to SR 598, and reverse for southbound motorists. The road is expected to reopen Nov. 17; however, weather will play a significant role in opening the road by that date.

State Route 103

SR 103, between the Wyandot County line and State Route 4, has intermittent single lane closures for finalization work as part of a resurfacing project. One lane of two-way traffic will be maintained at all times with flaggers. The project is expected to be complete in mid-November 2014.

Richland County

Five Points Road – ***UPDATE***

Five Points Road (County Road 259), between State Route 13 and Brubaker Creek Road, is closed for a bridge replacement project. Detour will be posted. The road is expected to reopen Nov. 21.
