A piece of artwork from Element of Art Studio/Gallery (EOA) is now adorning the lobby wall of the new offices for Three C Counseling, LLC on the 4th floor of the Barrington One Building, 13 Park Ave. West, in downtown Mansfield.
The drug and alcohol treatment facility commissioned the four-foot by five-foot canvas, which features an impressionistic water scene with water lilies. The artwork was done by EOA artists Manya Morgan and Tony Kobel.
“Three C Counseling wanted us to paint an extra large piece for their lobby,” said EOA Art Coordinator Kathy Goodwin. “They wanted it to be organic and welcoming.”
In addition to buying this large piece, Three C Counseling has also allowed the gallery to display other works of art throughout its offices, which are all available for purchase from the gallery.
Goodwin says they are planning an entire series of water lily pieces and presale is available. Anyone interested should contact the gallery at 419-522-2965.
Located at 96 N. Main St., Element of Art Studio/Gallery features artwork created by adults with developmental disabilities, including photography, ceramic pieces, jewelry, wood creations, and more.
EOA is operated by Richland Newhope Industries, Inc. and includes a working studio where art classes are held. The hours are Tuesday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There are also extended hours during the holiday season and special downtown events, including First Friday.
