Clarence Burl Dillman, Jr., 59, of Mansfield, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 7, 2014 following an extended illness.

Clarence was born July 11, 1955 in Muncie, Indiana. He was a wonderful husband, father and friend. Clarence loved spending time with his family and friends and was a great fisherman. He was a devoted member of the Cornerstone Freewill Baptist Church. Clarence had retired from MedCentral Mansfield Hospital after 12 years of employment.

Surviving are his loving wife, Darlene Dillman; four children, Clarence Dillman, III, Kay Dillman, Terri Cyrus, and Ray Cyrus; eight grandchildren, Cody, Damion, Cloud, Tessa, and Scott Dillman, Palar Grey, and Chase and Christian Schneider; two brothers, Jess (Cheryl) Dillman and Luther (Cindy) Dillman; sisters-in-law, Shirley (David) Reed and Mary (Dan) Hoose; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence, Sr. and Melva Dillman; and one sister, Dorothy Smith.

Clarence will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Calling hours will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, LTD., 1106 Park Avenue East (St. Rt. 430E), Mansfield. Funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor John Johnson officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
