Patricia Longden, 56, of Ashland, died early Saturday morning, Aug. 23, 2014 in Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. She was born Aug. 4, 1958, in Ashland, Ohio to the late Inez Marie Greenawalt Baker and Harry J. Baker.
She was employed at Goodwill Industries for the last 20 years. Patricia treasured spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by a daughter, Stacey Longden (Mike Rice) of Ashland; two sons, Eddie Longden, Jr. (Nikki Hupp) and Nic Longden (Michelle Hicks), both of Ashland; six grandchildren, Clayton Rice, Josh Rice, Jerret Rice, Kylie Longden, Bryce Longden and Justice Longden; five brothers and sisters, Sharon (Bob) Johnson of Adario, Kathy Pickering, Barb (Kim) Henthorn, Dory (Ron) Matz and Dennis Baker, all of Ashland; long-time partner, Jerry Longden; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Terry, Neil, David and Bobby Baker; and a sister, Pam Wilson.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2014 in the Ashland Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 308 Claremont Ave. The funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Ashland Cemetery.
