Severin S. Skulski, 96, of Tarpon Springs, Florida died Aug. 17, 2014.
 
Mr. Skulski was born June 28, 1918 in Mansfield to Mathew and Mary Bartoeski Skulski.  He moved to Upper Arlington where he lived from 1954-2001.  He retired from White-Westinghouse, Columbus, where he was employed as a drafting engineer.  He returned to Mansfield in 2001 and then moved to Tarpon Springs, Florida in 2005 to be near his daughter.
 
Severin is a World War II veteran where he served in the Pacific and European Theater.  He was a member of the American Legion Post 16, the Mansfield Liederkranz and the American Federation of Musicians Union Local 159 of Mansfield.  He is an avid golfer and often served as a Marshall at the Memorial Golf Tournament at Muirfield.
 
Survivors include daughter Judith (Jerry) Lee of Tarpon Springs, FL; son Gary (Donna) Skulski of Mentor; grandsons Ryan (Jen) Skulski, Sean Skulski both of Mentor, Bryan Lee of Tarpon Springs, FL; granddaughters Kirsten (Jeremy) Sutton of Tarpon Springs, Kelli (Adam) Davenport of Dallas, TX; great-granddaughters Jordan Alyse Sutton of Tarpon Springs, Delani Davenport of Dallas; great-grandsons Tyson Jeffrey Sutton of Tarpon Springs, Braden Davenport of Dallas, Caden and Mason Skulski of Mentor.
 
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Anne Gilde Skulski, then he married Irene Novacic in 1954 and she passed away in 2002; brothers Michael and Edward Skulski.
 
Graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Monday at Mansfield Catholic Cemetery officated by Deacon Terry Philpott with military services provided by Richland County Joint Veterans Burial Detail.
 
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion, Mansfield.
 
Herlihy-Chambers Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
