Lenore June Vining, 74, of S. Bridge Street, Perrysville, died Sunday evening, July 13, 2014 in Sycamore Run Care Center, Millersburg after an extended illness. Lenore was born August 11, 1939 in Mansfield and was the daughter of the late Lester and Nora (Wade) Bridges. She had lived in Perrysville most of her life and was a nurses’ aide for a year at Kettering Hospital of Loudonville and 22 years at Colonial Manor Health Care Center of Loudonville before retiring.
She enjoyed crafting and collecting angel figurines. On Jan. 4, 1956 she married John Vining and he died May 6, 2012.
She is survived by 2 daughters: Debra J. Fowler of Cedar Lake, IN, and Linda G. (Russell) Fowler of Perrysville; 4 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; her brother, Raymond Bridges Sr. of Mansfield; and 3 sisters: Beverly Ringer of Mansfield, Barbara Hampton of KY, and Lila Rose Schuster of Mansfield. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a sister, Easther Vining, and a brother, Lester Bridges Jr.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 17, at 11 a.m. in Lindsey Funeral Home, Loudonville with Rev. Howard Burnett officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Perrysville. Friends may call one hour prior to services at 10 a.m. in the funeral home.
