Andrew J. Browning, 37, of St. Petersburg, FL died Friday, July 4, 2014 at St. Anthony’s Hospital, St. Petersburg, FL after he lost his battle with Crohn’s Disease.
Andrew was born in Mansfield on March 25, 1977 to Denver D. and Chris L. (Berrish) Browning, who survive him in Crestline.
Andy graduated with honors from Buckeye Central High School, New Washington, Class of 1995. He attended Carthage College, Kenosha, WI, and The Ohio State University, Columbus. Andy has lived the past year and a half in St. Petersburg, FL, coming from Port Clinton. He helped initiate Toys for Tots in Bucyrus. Andy loved being on Lake Erie. He had been a member of the Marine City Yacht Club, Marblehead.
In addition to his parents, Andrew is survived by his brother, Tom and Clarice Browning, Ontario, his sister, Jodi Crawford McCullough-Rump and brother-in-law Terry Rump, Holland, his two nephews, Patrick McCullough, Toledo and Tyler Browning, Ontario, six nieces: Kristi McCullough and Jeni Lynn Rump, both of Holland, Taylor, Taryn, Cammy and Calley Browning, Ontario, and one great-niece, Kaniya Hague, Holland. He also left his very special companion who was always at his side, his foxhound, Marty.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Deni Lynn Browning and his paternal grandparents, Rufus and Lucille Browning. Andy was met at the “Rainbow Bridge” by another special companion, his black lab, Midnight.
Funeral services for the family will be held at the graveside in Crawford County Memory Gardens, Crestline.
