ASHLAND – Ashland University’s Coburn Gallery will be celebrating the creativity, innovation and dedication of its AU alumni over the years in an art department alumni exhibition opening in the fall semester of 2014.
Alumni of AU’s Department of Art are invited to submit artwork for the alumni exhibition, which will take place in the Coburn Gallery Oct. 2 to 31. An opening reception will be held on Thursday, Oct. 2, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
The exhibition is open to any graduate of Ashland University’s Art program. All artwork should be made in the last two years and not exhibited at any previous Coburn Gallery exhibition. There is no fee for entry. All media will be considered, including installation, design work and new media.
Shipped entries must arrive the week of Sept. 18 to 22 or be hand delivered to the Coburn Gallery during that same time frame. Entry deadline is Sept. 22 at 5 p.m. All artwork must be gallery ready and they will be screened by the gallery director.
