Devon Ann Nytko, nee Lewis, 69, of Perrysville, Ohio died Wednesday July 2, 2014 at Akron General Medical Center. Devon was born June 9, 1945 in Mansfield, Ohio and was the daughter of the late James Henry and Norma Mae (Reimer) Lewis. She was a 1963 graduate of Loudonville High School, growing up in Perrysville, Ohio where she recently moved from the Downers Grove and Chicago, IL areas.

She was a passionate District Sales Manager for Avon Products in Morton Grove, IL for 23 years, retiring in 2005. Her most recent endeavor was building her beautiful dream home, a unique log cabin in her hometown. She found enjoyment in antiquing, knitting, traveling, and cruising the high seas, but her heart was devoted to her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel Nytko, whom she married April 4, 2006; her son James (Benita Prado) Schulte of Huntley, IL; her daughter, DeAnn (Gregory) Snodgrass of Plainfield, IL; 6 grandchildren: Lucas Snodgrass, Jacob Schulte, Emily Schulte, Madeline Schulte, Drake Wash-Prado, and Madison Wash; her step-father: Franklin “Hank” Cates of Sandusky, and 2 brothers: Larry (Marie) Lewis of Salem, and James Lewis of Perrysville. She was preceded in death by her parents and her special Aunt Mabel Myers.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, July 7 at 7 p.m. in the Lindsey Funeral Home, with her nephew, Rev. Steven Schulte officiating. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. on Monday in the funeral home.
