Tammy Ferguson, 44, of Fredericktown, passed away unexpectedly Friday, June 27, 2014.
Born Oct. 3, 1969, she was the daughter of Donald Canter and Betty (Brown) Semler. Tammy was a fun-loving lady who loved her kids and grandkids very much. In her free time, she enjoyed antiquing and being outdoors. She especially loved shooting, including target practice and turkey shoots. Tammy was always giving back and frequently gave blood, receiving many certificates and pins for her contributions.
She is survived by her husband, Jay C. Ferguson; son, Jayson Ferguson of Fredericktown; step-son, Timothy Ferguson of Fredericktown; step-daughter, Shonnie Ferguson of Mt. Vernon; step-grandchildren, Joshua and Kayden Ferguson; mother, Betty Semler; sisters, Cindy Hess and Rachel Boyce, both of Mt. Vernon; and brothers, Amos Canter of Mt. Vernon and Don Canter of Fredericktown.
Tammy was preceded in death by her father.
Funeral services will be Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington Springmill Road, Ontario. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12-2 p.m. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
