The North End Farmers’ Market (NEFM) is now accepting SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits. Shoppers can use their Ohio Direction Card, which is Ohio’s SNAP card, to purchase fresh produce, baked goods, herbs, honey and other food items. In addition, SNAP can be used to buy plants and seeds of food crops, like tomatoes.

The NEFM is open to the public from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month, through October. It is held at the United Steelworkers Hall, 376 W. Longview Avenue in Mansfield.

This farmers’ market is organized by the North End Community Improvement Collaborative, in partnership with the United Steelworkers Local 169, the North End Elder Program, and local producers.
