William D. “Bill” Wise, 59, of Perrysville, died Thursday evening, May 15, in Wooster Community Hospital, after a brief illness. Bill was born July 13, 1954 in Loudonville, the son of the late William E. and Natalie L. (Johnson) Wise. He was a Perrysville area resident all his life, a 1972 graduate of Loudonville High School, and a 1974 graduate of North Central Technical College, Mansfield. Bill retired in 2012 from Gorman Rupp Company after a 34 year career working as an electrical engineer. He enjoyed playing guitar, golfing, and trap shooting, but loved the Cleveland Browns. He was a member of The Sons of the American Legion, the VFW Mens Auxiliary, and the Loudonville Eagles.
Bill is survived by his daughter, Chantel S.F. Ramsey of Aspen, Colorado; and his brother and sister-in-law, Brian and Dianna Wise of Loudonville. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Sally Jo Wise.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 21 at 10:00am in LINDSEY FUNERAL HOME, LOUDONVILLE, with Alan Combs officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Perrysville. Friends may call Tuesday from 2-4and 6-8pm in LINDSEY FUNERAL HOME, LOUDONVILLE where a S.A.L. service will begin at 7:45pm.
