State Representative Mark Romanchuk (R-Ontario) issued a Public Service Announcement regarding local projects that were funded through the State Capital Budget.
The state’s capital budget bill appropriates funding for community projects. Local projects within Richland County include a total of $1 million appropriated to support a 46,000 square-foot College of Nursing for Ashland University. In addition, $500,000 will be invested in the MEDAL Talent Innovation Network, which is located in downtown Mansfield, to educate, develop, and train students in the skills necessary to grow the local economy.
