Emmett Wayne Ray, 54, of Mansfield, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at his residence.
Emmett was born July 31, 1959 in Mansfield to Emmett W. and Edna Loraine (Stump) Ray. He was employed at Mid-Ohio Satellite in Crestline.
Emmett is survived by three children, Michael Dean Ray, James Allen Ray, and Peggy Sue Ray all of Mansfield; his mother, Edna Ray of Mansfield; one sister, Cynthia (Larry) Polk of Mansfield; and several nieces and nephews.
Emmett was preceded in death by his father, Emmett Ray; and two sisters, Vivian Bennette and Linda Sue Whittaker.
Calling hours will be from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, LTD., 1106 Park Avenue East (St. Rt. 430E), Mansfield. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. with. Military honors will be performed by Richland Co. Joint Veterans Burial Detail.
