Mary L. Cypher, 89, of died Thursday, March 6, 2014 at The Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Ashland. Born July 24, 1924 in Mansfield, she was the daughter of Ralph H. and Lucile (Sapp) Wolf. She retired as a LPN from Samaritan Regional Health System and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the LPN Association. Always helping others, Mary liked to travel, play cards, do crafts, and was a fan of the Cleveland Indians.
She is survived by her daughter, Joan (Don) Thompson of Ashland; son, Grant (Pat) Cypher of Wellington; grandchildren, Jeff (Joyce) Cypher and Terry (Trisha) Cypher, both of Wellington; great grandchildren, Jennifer, Ryan and Noelle Cypher and April Gibbs; great great grandchildren, Jakob and Morgan Gibbs; brother, Gail O. (Evelyn) Wolf of Jeromesville; and special friend Kim Holland.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Faye Pittenger.
Friends may call Monday, March 10, 2014 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Ashland Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 308 Claremont Ave., Ashland. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home conducted by Rev. Julie Thomas. Burial will follow in Ashland Cemetery.
