Following up on an anonymous tip on Monday, March 3 at approximately 6:45 p.m., members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) found Darrius C. Marshall, 26, one of Mansfield’s Most Wanted, hiding out at 291 Cline Ave #308. The NOVFTF and Richland County Probation officers located Marshall attempting to hide in an upstairs bedroom.

Task Force officers also located Angelo R. Evans Jr. and a seventeen year old male. Both were later arrested on drug charges. The METRICH Enforcement Unit was contacted after a bag of marijuana was observed in plain view in the bedroom Marshall was located in.

METRICH detectives drafted a search warrant which was signed by the Honorable Judge Frank Ardis and began the search at approximately 8 p.m. During the search, detectives located almost an ounce of suspected crack cocaine, approximately one (1) gram of suspected heroin and 6 ½ grams of suspected marijuana. The seventeen-year-old male was also found to have a small quantity of suspected crack cocaine.

Marshall was incarcerated at the Richland County Jail. Evans, a juvenile, was incarcerated at the Juvenile Attention Center. Detectives also seized $1,404 in cash. Additional charges will be forwarded to the Richland County Prosecutor’s Office for review once the investigation is complete.

Marshall was charged with Possession of Heroin and Possession of Crack Cocaine. Evans Jr., 17, was charged with Possession of Crack Cocaine.
