Jennie N. Predmore, age 95, resident of Hebron, Ohio and former area resident died Sunday, February 23, 2014 in Arlington Care Center, Newark, Ohio.
Born December 14, 1918 in Lower Salem, Ohio, she was the daughter of John and Bertha (Nieb) Merrow. Jennie grew up in the Marietta area, resided in Plymouth, Ohio in the mid-fifties and moved to Hebron in 1967. She was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, gardening and babysitting her grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Kevin (Sarah) Predmore of Heath, Marc (Mary) Predmore of Heath, and Terry (Theresa) Predmore of Gambier; seven grandchildren, one great-grandson, six siblings, Etolla Burwell of Mesa, Arizona, Kermit Merrow of Middleville, Michigan, Norman Merrow of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Oscar Merrow of Seville, Ohio, Clyde Merrow of Berthoud, Colorado and John Merrow of Fleming, Ohio, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Predmore in 1982, one brother, Stanley Merrow and one sister, Virginia Hall.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, March 1, 2014 at the Barkdull Funeral Home in Shelby. Reverend Roger Thompson, of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Willard, will officiate with interment in Greenlawn Cemetery, Plymouth. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
