Shelby Monuments relocated to 69 West Main Street in Shelby effective January 1. Seeing the opportunity for ownership of his own building, Bill Neal moved his business to the other end of Main Street from his former 44 East Main location.

“The new building’s size better suits what my business needs are and the location is ideal because of neighboring businesses,” said Neal.

While renovations are still in progress, Shelby Monuments is open and ready for spring orders. “Things might be a little dusty from time to time but I am fully operational,” stated Neal. He continued, “Even though we’re still in the throws of winter, this time of year is ideal for placing orders. It gives us the time to create a memorial for a loved one and meet the Memorial Day target date for delivery, even for custom or imported orders.”

Shelby Monuments is the only Richland County based monment business for granite and bronze monuments. Store hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with appointments available Wednesday, Saturday and evenings.
