Abigail Grace Burton went home to get her whole heart January 18, 2014 in Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus.
Abigail was born October 28, 2013 to Jarrod and Jessica Burton of Mansfield. During her 11 weeks on earth, she blessed the life of so many and was dearly loved.
Her favorite activities included smiling at her turtle toy and her big sister Brooke, and listening to music with mommy and daddy. She was a daddy’s girl from birth, she rarely took her eyes off of him when he walked through the house.
She is survived by her parents, Jarrod and Jessica Burton of Mansfield; her big sister Brooke; grandparents Timothy Burton of Lewis Center, Tammy Burton of Mansfield, Russ and Melinda Holbrook of Mansfield; many great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her puppy Chloe.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Nicholas James Burton.
The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home where her funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. Pastor Micah Pelkey will officiate and burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery.
The parents will always be thankful to the nurses and doctors at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and to our Lord Jesus Christ for making it possible for our precious girl to spend so many wonderful weeks at home, happy & healthy.
