This year will be a little brighter at two community non-profits. On Monday, December 9th, Richland Bank President, John Brown, presented Julie Kleshinski, Executive Director of The New Store, and Tara Corrigan, Director of Operations at Raemelton Therapeutic Equestrian Center, each with a check for $500 on behalf of Richland Bank’s customers.
“This has been another challenging economic year for many in our community,” said Brown. “Once again, Richland Bank employees have decided to show their gratitude to our wonderful clients by this donation instead of gift baskets. Our community’s non-profit organizations are doing impactful work and we hope everyone will share in our joy of making a difference in our community.”
“The New Store works with local companies and churches to help over 1,000 children in Richland County have clothes and toys for Christmas. We receive referrals by local social service case workers,” said Kleshinski. “This donation will help us to complete our shopping for this year. We are very grateful for the support of this program.”
At Raemelton, there are several clients that do not have the funds for the programs that they need. “We provide both partial and full scholarships for some of our riders,” said Corrigan. “With this donation, we will be able to provide at least one scholarship and a half to those who do not have the financial means to take part.”
This is the third year that Richland Bank has chosen to donate to community non-profits on behalf of its customers. Past recipients were The United Way of Richland County and The Salvation Army in Mansfield.
