As the Mansfield location closes in on its fifth year, Tom Luther, director of site operations at STARTEK, says the company’s future in Richland County is bright. The company has made a concentrated effort from this location to reach beyond its 850 West Fourth Street walls and into the community.

“STARTEK has had a tremendous 2013, and is forecasting a tremendous 2014 in terms of client growth and jobs for the community. Our focus is and will remain on performance excellence with our current client and employee satisfaction. We have done a great job this year with the generation of jobs for the community and showing the great city of Mansfield how much we care about our citizens,” said Luther.

He noted the company’s relationship with Madison High School in the creation of STARTEK Stadium and looks to benefit this community for years to come.

Madison Comprehensive High School’s football field will undergo a significant renovation in 2014. STARTEK is a primary financial donor that will fund the transformation of the all-weather track stadium.

Luther said of STARTEK’s contribution, ”We are striving to make a difference in the community.”

The company is also bringing a boost to the local economy.

HR Manager Thad Gribble stated, ”STARTEK will be hiring 75 Customer Care Agents in November and December. We are looking for individuals who love customer service and have a great work ethic. STARTEK provides the best in class paid training, opportunity for advancement into management and a tremendous earning potential based on performance. In addition, some other great benefits of working at STARTEK include full time work schedules, benefits and a very generous 401k.”

According to Gribble, STARTEK takes great pride in providing an effective and consistent measure of service to its clients along with providing an atmosphere that initiates growth and advancement for their employees.

“It is very rewarding for me personally to see the pride our employees feel regarding our involvement in the community and the impact we are trying to have on this city,” said Luther.

That dedication and commitment to the community came through in the company’s efforts to give back to the community. Earlier this year, STARTEK donated 2,500 school supply items to Mansfield City Schools and added 777 items to the “Make a Difference Food Drive.” The company also raised $765 for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk with American Cancer Society in October. Later that month, STARTEK sponsored the Mansfield Halloween Parade that included passing out 15,000 pieces of candy to children.

Luther added that STARTEK is excited and committed to carving a path in the community that initiates growth, support and a legacy of service to be carried on for generations to come.
