The Richland Area Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year Awards Reception will be held at Hawkins Corner, 2131 Park Avenue West, Suite 300 on Thursday, Nov. 21 from 5 to 7 p.m.
The festivities begin with a wide array of signature hors’d oeuvres presented by Ontario Event Center. Gordon Food Service Marketplace and Meijer are preparing some delicious desserts and there will be a cash bar. Memorial Museum/Scott Schautt, Curator, will take attendees back in this area’s history with his picture display representing the past.
The area’s top small business finalists and winners will be honored at the reception. Finalists in the Manufacturing/Industrial, Retail/Service, Entrepreneurial and Minority/Female categories are Antonelli’s Personal Training Systems, Cornell’s IGA Super Center, Derrenberger’s DW Catering, Forbes Rehab Services, Inc., Jones Potato Chip Company, Shelby/Mansfield KOA and Two Cousins Pizza Company.
The excitement climaxes as the winners of these prestigious awards are announced at 6 p.m.
The sponsors of the event include CenturyLink, Graham Automall, Hamilton Insurance Services, Mechanics Bank and the Chamber Health Plan.
Medical Mutual is sponsoring the cost of this event for Chamber members, but attendees are asked to pre-registration by 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 20 to help in planning for the food.
