Catholic Charities will host its third annual Harvest of Hope Breakfast at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 22 at Café on Main. The keynote speaker will be Harvey Alston.
Alston is considered one of the most dynamic speakers in America. He has spoken to millions nationwide who have benefited from his knowledge and wisdom. His unforgettable words of individual responsibility for achievement have improved spirits, spurred growth and changed lives. Over the years, Alston has received recognition from several diverse groups and organizations such as the Ohio House of Representatives, the City of Columbus and several other national recognitions and awards.
A quilt will be raffled off at the event and tickets may be purchased in advance. The quilt was pieced and quilted by Jenni Paramore. Tickets for the raffle are $1 each or six for $5. Participants do not need to be present to win.
