One might argue that nurturing entrepreneurs was work Heather Tsavaris was born to do.
Tsavaris’ parents are highly successful entrepreneurs themselves. Her father immigrated from a small island in Greece at the age of 16. He started as a dishwasher in the Brown Derby chain and worked his way up to vice president of the company.
Ascending the corporate ranks afforded him the opportunity to purchase his own franchise in his early thirties and he relocated the Tsavaris family to Ontario. Heather speaks fondly of “playing restaurant” as a child in the break room at her family’s restaurant and as she grew, so did her father’s business. In the intervening years his business has spilled outside of Richland County and he has multiple restaurants in 4 Ohio cities. “There is something to the American Dream; It’s very real,” says Tsavaris.
