COLUMBUS—State Representative Mark Romanchuk (R-Ontario) yesterday announced that the State Controlling Board has released funding in the amount of $1 million to the City of Mansfield.
The funding will be used for cleanup and demolition activities on the Project Property located at 500 North Main Street. Town and Country Co-Op, Inc., located in Ashland, will be using the site as a distribution facility for dry and liquid fertilizer products and grain in the future.
“I’m pleased to see Mansfield receive this funding and further its efforts to bring in more business to the project site at Main and Longview,” Rep. Romanchuk said. “Improving this site is a necessary step to bring in more business and better serve the agriculture industry in Richland County.”
