Rising inflation leads to potential change in Mansfield Board of Control authority
MANSFIELD — Continuing rising inflation has led to the Mansfield Charter Review Commission’s only recommended change. City Council on Tuesday is scheduled to discuss a proposed change to the city’s charter that would allow the Board to Control award contracts of up to $50,000, up from the $25,000 limit now imposed.

Mansfield City Council launches 2024 with a night of firsts
MANSFIELD — It was a night of firsts at the initial Mansfield City Council of 2024. It was the first night of work for new 4th Ward Councilwoman Cynthia Daley and new 6th Ward Councilwoman Deborah Mount.
