Rosella Dalee Hollinger, 81, of Mansfield, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at Winchester Terrace Nursing home.
Rosella was born December 22, 1932 in Lucas to Wilson and Mary (Dickson) Berry.
Rosella attended Mansfield Business College and was an executive secretary at Westinghouse and Mansfield Tire, worked at Peabody Barnes, was a Daycare provider, retired from RCDJFS. She represented the State of Ohio for FFA with a trip to Washington D.C. when she attended Lucas High School.
She helped her father, Wilson Berry, on his poultry farm in Lucas. She enjoyed family gatherings, sharing Christian fellowship and an abundance of good food was always a favorite. She was Berry Family pie maker.
Rosella was a life time member of Bethel Evangelical Church and attended Little Washington Congregational Church. She was a Sunday school teacher, secretary and choir teacher for the church.
She is survived by her husband Glenn C. Hollinger, they were married July 16, 1961 and just celebrated 53 years together; five children: Cher (Jim) Cox of Lucas, Rev. Michael (Debbie) Hollinger of Galloway, Elaine (Cemal) Yildiz of Lake Villa, Il., Shirley (John) Dowdy of Mansfield, Brian Hollinger of Mansfield; one brother Lyle (Ruth) Berry of Lucas; eight grandchildren, Derek, Jamie, Rachel, Lauren, Courtney, Bradley, Andrea, and Ashley; 2 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
Rosella was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, Walter Berry, Leo Berry, Duane Berry and 1 sister, Wilma Maglott.
Calling hours will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 27, 2014 at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, LTD., 1106 Park Avenue East (St. Rt. 430E), Mansfield. Funeral service will be Monday, July 28, 2014, 1 p.m. with Rev. James Berry officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
