MANSFIELD -- A Mansfield woman was stabbed more than 30 times Thursday morning and Police are going door-to-door seeking information on her assailant, according to a press release from Capt. Shari Robertson.
"If anyone can provide any tips regarding the possible identity of the person or persons responsible for this assault, we are asking them to contact us," Robertson said. "The investigation is in its early stages and we do not have a motive for the assault and at this time.
"However, it appears to be a random attack. I do not have an update on the victim's condition as she remains in hospital care."
