MANSFIELD -- One person was killed Monday afternoon after a three-vehicle crash on the north side of the city, according to a press release from the Mansfield Police Department.
The incident occurred at 2:26 p.m. in the area of 1220 N. Main St. which is near the intersection of North Main Street and Harrington-Memorial Road.
Police say one of the drivers was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other two drivers were treated and released.
Crash reconstructionists from the Division’s Traffic Section were on the scene Monday afternoon with assistance from the Ohio State Highway Patrol and the Mansfield Police Department’s Un-manned Arial System (UAS/DRONE).
"We are asking motorists find alternative routes and try to avoid traveling in this area for the next few hours," Police stated. "Any additional information will be released at a later date."
