Full-Time Laborer

The Village of Lexington is accepting applications for a full-time Laborer to assist with the maintenance and upkeep of village streets, public grounds, stormwater infrastructure, and municipal facilities.

Applicants should be dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to work outdoors in varying weather conditions year-round.

Responsibilities

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Snow plowing and ice control
• Asphalt and concrete repair
• Stormwater system and catch basin maintenance
• Grass mowing, trimming, mulching, and grounds maintenance
• Tree and brush trimming/removal
• Trash and debris removal
• Traffic flagging and street maintenance support
• Operating trucks, mowers, and maintenance equipment
• Using hand and power tools safely
• Completing routine maintenance records and reports

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required
• CDL required within first year of employment
• Ability to perform physical outdoor labor
• Equipment operation experience preferred, but not required

Schedule & Benefits
