MANSFIELD — Neil Hamilton, President & CEO of Hamilton Insurance Group, Inc. announced this week the acquisition of the A.O. Wing Insurance Agency located in Groveport, Ohio.
The Wing Agency is a property and casualty insurance agency that was founded in 1955 and purchased by Eve Hush in 1988. The purchase was effective Jan. 1. The Wing Agency represents Auto-Owners Insurance, Liberty Mutual, Travelers, Safeco, Pekin, and several other insurance carriers. Eve Hush will remain with the agency as will Elisa Snavely the commericial lines account manager.
The Wing Agency will merge with The O’Dell Insurance Agency which was purchased by The Hamilton Agency in November of 2017. The new location will be in Gahanna.
“With this acquisition, our agency can increase its footprint in the Columbus area and provide the needed cash flow to aggressively broaden its marketing efforts,” Hamilton said.
Hamilton Insurance Group’s home office is located at 1669 Lexington Ave. Ste. B Mansfield, Ohio and was founded by President and CEO Neil Hamilton in 1992.
The Hamilton Group employs eleven full time employees in Mansfield and five in the Gahanna location. In addition, the agency has five 1099 outside sales producers.
