Annamarie Weimer, of Lexington, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 15, 2025. She was 87.

She was born on October 31, 1938 in Astoria, New York to the late Thomas and Neddie (Cupolo) Colagrande. Annamarie grew up in the area and attended Queensville High School. On December 17, 1955 she married the love of her life, Gary Weimer, in Queens, New York. The couple shared almost 67 years of marriage together until his passing in 2022, now they are reunited once again.

Annamarie worked for many years as a telephone operator at United Telephone, a role that reflected her patience, attentiveness, and friendly nature. In her free time, she enjoyed watching baseball, doing crafts, playing cards, and diving into her love of video games. A true enthusiast, she owned nearly every handheld Nintendo system (with the lone exception of the Switch) and proudly built a collection of more than 300 games. Annamarie especially delighted in celebrating holidays, with Halloween — her birthday — and Christmas, her favorite time of year, holding a special place in her heart. Above all else, she loved her family deeply and took great joy in spoiling her beloved dog, Snowball. She will be remembered as a loving, kind, generous, and delightfully mischievous woman whose spirit brought warmth and laughter to those who knew her.

She is survived by her children Robert Weimer, Gary Weimer, and Debbie (Ed) Delong, grandchildren Stormy Delong, Eddie (Sara) Delong, Zack Delong, and Angelica (William) Cramer, great-grandchild Nicholas Delong, and her ever faithful companion Snowball.

In addition to her husband, Annamarie is preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter Anna Delong, and brothers Nicky and Tommy Colagrande.

Although no public services will be held in Annamarie’s memory, her family hopes that you remember her in your own special way.
