Thomas W. Parsons, age 91 of Mansfield, Ohio passed away peacefully at home October 2, 2025. He was born November 16, 1933 in Mannington, West Virginia to the late Thomas and Dorothy Parsons.
He married the love of his life Wilma on January 5, 1952. They shared 73 years together until her passing in April of this year. He attended Faith Baptist Church in Ontario, where he served many roles in the church, including Deacon, usher and was involved in the Jr. church program. He was employed with General Motors for 34 years retiring in 1991.
He was a collector of all things Crayola. He was invited to several schools to share and talk about his collection. He was a huge history buff and knew a little something about everything. He enjoyed sitting and discussing all topics with his friends and family. He enjoyed spending hours sitting in his chair, watching the birds and learning about all the different types of birds that come to the feeders.
He is survived by his children; Brenda Shepherd, Tom (Andrea) Parsons, Sandra Parsons, Ron (Wendy) Parsons, Tracy (Brian) Grant and Amy Jo Taylor; 14 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Parsons; his parents, Tom and Dorothy Parsons and his sister, Jackie Letts.
Friends and family may call Monday, October 13, 2025 from 5:00PM to 7:00 PM with a memorial service to follow at the Faith Baptist Church 3216 Park Ave. W., Ontario, OH 44906.
