Wilma “Jean” Sharrock, 99, of Upper Sandusky, formerly of Marion, passed peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, September 29, 2025, at Vancrest of Upper Sandusky.
Jean was born on February 26, 1926, to the late Birt and Nellie (Beamer) Clark. She graduated from Mt. Zion High School, Class of 1944. Jean would marry Richard Clark, and he would precede her in death. She would then marry Dwight Sharrock, who also preceded her in death. Jean was employed by Fulfillment Corp. in Marion, and she retired after twenty-five years of service.
Left to cherish her memories are her children: Larry (Julie) Clark of Crestline, Carol (Ralph) Wemple of Cape Coral, FL., Linda Martin of Bucyrus, and Patricia Paulus of Marion; sisters: Maxine Shifley of Powell, and Joyce Dickey of Upper Sandusky; 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 6 step grandchildren and 5 step great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, and her husbands, Jean was preceded in death by her daughter; Cathy Mitchell, her grandson Steve Clark, and her siblings: Betty Bursby, Arlene Neuman, and Don Clark.
Friends may call on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, at Gompf Funeral Service – Crestline Chapel; 223 W. Main St. Crestline. A celebration of Jean’s life will begin immediately following. The family will observe a private family graveside where Jean will be laid to rest at Caledonia Cemetery with her second husband, Dwight Sharrock.
