NEW WASHINGTON — Colonel Crawford’s undefeated season remained on track after a solid win at Buckeye Central on Friday night in a clash between Crawford County foes.

Senior Connor McMichael helped the Eagles take flight with a 14-yard touchdown bolt in the first quarter.

The floodgates opened in the second period.

Dominic Dean scored on a 9-yard run, McMichael found the end zone on a 17-yard dash, Trace Skaggs returned an interception 12 yards for a touchdown, and Parker Weithman’s 48-yard punt return, all followed by Joseph Zizzo PATs, gave C.C. a 35-0 halftime bulge.

The second half was played with a running clock.

Avery Powers hit paydirt from 7 yards to bump the score to 42-0 going to the final period.

The Bucks averted the shutout with a fourth-quarter TD on Military Appreciation Night.

The Eagles are now 5-0 overall, 2-0 in the Northern 10. C.C. will host Bucyrus next week.

Buckeye Central falls to 3-2, 1-1. The Bucks are at Mohawk on Friday night.
