MANSFIELD — The Renaissance Theatre is proud to announce the opening of its 2025-2026 Ghostlight Cabaret Series with An Evening with Kelly Knowlton on Friday, September 5, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. in the intimate Ghostlight Lounge.
Known as one of the region’s powerhouse vocalists, Kelly Knowlton will treat audiences to an unforgettable evening of standards, showtunes, and pop/jazz favorites. Accompanied by Renaissance Artistic Director Michael Thomas at the piano, the performance promises a night of rich music, laughter, and artistry in a speakeasy-style setting.
“Kelly is one of our local music legends – and her vocal range and depth of emotion is like no other,” said Thomas. “Pulling from her vast repertoire of favorites, old and new, she has the ability to delight an audience like no other.”
Knowlton has been featured in numerous Renaissance productions, including memorable roles such as Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar, Diana in Next to Normal, Phoebe in A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, and the Fairy Godmother in Cinderella. Beyond the Ren stage, she regularly performs throughout the area and is a frequent featured soloist with the Artistic Jazz Orchestra.
Each $30 ticket includes decadent desserts, drinks, and live music, ensuring a true VIP cabaret experience. Seating is limited, making early reservations highly recommended.
