MANSFIELD — Below are criminal court cases which have been resolved in Richland County Common Pleas Court in recent months.
The list includes any case which Richland Source has published as an indictment, stories which first began publishing here in February 2024.
April
— Ryan A. Guthrie, 36, was sentenced to six months in prison for one count of aggravated possession of drugs. Guthrie was also ordered to pay $35 to the Ohio State Highway Patrol crime lab. He is subject to up to two years of post-release control and was granted two days of jail credit for time already served at the Richland County Sheriff’s Office.
— Brandon Molloy, 39, received a six-month prison sentence for one count of strangulation. Molloy is subject to up to two years of post-release control and was granted five days of jail credit for time already served at RCSO.
— Melissa Bellomy, 35, was sentenced to nine months in prison for illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto grounds of a specified governmental facility and possession of cocaine. Bellomy is subject to up to two years of post-release control and was granted four days of jail credit for time already served at RCSO.
May
— Ricky A. Simones, 49, was sentenced to 36 months of community control for three charges; illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto grounds of a specified governmental facility, aggravated possession of drugs and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia. Simones was also ordered to pay $40 to the Mansfield Police Department crime lab. He is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
June
— Timothy Gibson, 30, received 36 months of community control for one count of aggravated possession of drugs. Gibson was also ordered to pay $40 to the MPD crime lab. He is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Marie A. Branham, 49, was sentenced to 10 months in prison for one count of possession of cocaine. Branham is subject to up to two years of post-release control and was granted 29 days of jail credit for time already served at RCSO.
— Koty Wilson, 37, received an 18-month prison sentence for one count of receiving stolen property. Wilson is subject to up to two years of post-release control and was granted 308 days of jail credit for time already served at RCSO.
— Kasondra Mann, 28, received 36 months of community control for an amended charge of attempted tampering with evidence, as well as one count of possession of cocaine. Mann was also ordered to pay $40 to the MPD crime lab. She is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Nicholas Arnold, 21, was sentenced to four years in prison for four charges: amended burglary, failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer, improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle with a specification for forfeiture of a weapon and operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, a drug of abuse or a combination of them. Arnold was also ordered to pay a $375 fine and must forfeit a firearm to the State of Ohio. His driver’s license was also suspended for four years. The suspension began on Dec. 7, 2024. He is subject to up to two years of post-release control and was granted two days of jail credit for time already served at RCSO.
— Jacklynn Stephens, 30, received a 30-month prison sentence for three charges: possession of a fentanyl-related compound, possession of cocaine and aggravated possession of drugs. Stephens is subject to up to two years of post-release control and was granted 71 days of jail credit for time already served at RCSO.
— Jade A. Wynn, 26, was sentenced to 36 months of community control for one count of aggravated possession of drugs. Wynn is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Stephanie Arbogast, 33, received an 11-month prison sentence for one count of possession of cocaine. Arbogast was also ordered to pay $40 to the MPD crime lab. She is subject to up to two years of post-release control and was granted 14 days of jail credit for time already served at RCSO.
— Matthew Newsome, 49, was sentenced to 18 months in prison for one count of escape. Newsome also received one to three years of mandatory post-release control and was granted 68 days of jail credit for time already served at RCSO.
— Sparkle McKinney, 43, received 30 months of community control, to be transferred to Franklin County, for one count of possession of cocaine. A possession of a fentanyl-related compound charge was dismissed. McKinney was also ordered to pay $80 to the MPD crime lab. McKinney is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Kendra L. Weikle, 47, was accepted into Richland County Substance Abuse Treatment Court on June 10. Weikle was indicted on aggravated possession of drugs in December 2024. Her case has been transferred to SATC for all further proceedings.
— Jimmy M. Bennett, 33, was accepted into Richland County Substance Abuse Treatment Court on June 24. Bennett was indicted on aggravated possession of drugs in January 2025. His case has been transferred to SATC for all further proceedings.
— Deandre Maggette, 46, was sentenced to seven months in prison for one count of aggravated possession of drugs. Maggette was also ordered to pay $40 to the MPD crime lab. He is subject to up to two years of post-release control and was granted 87 days of jail credit for time already served at RCSO.
In a separate case, Maggette was sentenced to seven months in prison for possession of a fentanyl-related compound. Maggette was also ordered to forfeit two cell phones and a firearm to the State of Ohio. A possession of drugs charge and three additional forfeiture specifications were dismissed. He must pay $80 to the MPD crime lab. Maggette is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— John Cline, 52, received a 26-month prison sentence for three charges; strangulation, abduction and domestic violence. Cline also received one to three years of mandatory post-release control. He is subject to up to two years of post-release control and was granted 76 days of jail credit for time already served at RCSO.
— Garrett Black, 27, was sentenced to three to four and a half years in prison for charges of trafficking in a fentanyl-related compound and possession of a fentanyl-related compound. Black also received 18 months to three years of mandatory post-release control. He must also forfeit interest in the amount of $2,244 to the State of Ohio and pay $40 to the MPD crime lab. Black was granted 142 days of jail credit for time already served at RCSO.
— Robert Duckworth, 32, was accepted into Richland County Substance Abuse Treatment Court on June 11. Duckworth was indicted on possession of cocaine in January 2025. His case has been transferred to SATC for all further proceedings.
— Anthony Brown, 40, was sentenced to four and a half to six and a half years in prison for one count of possession of cocaine, as well as possession of a fentanyl-related compound. Two additional counts of possession of cocaine, along with two forfeiture specifications, were dismissed. Brown also received 18 months to three years of mandatory post release control and must forfeit interest in the amount of $5,586 to the State of Ohio. He must also pay $200 to the MPD crime lab. Brown was granted 103 days of jail credit for time already served at RCSO.
— Kaine Black, 27, received 36 months of community control for one count of possession of cocaine. Black is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Timothy Maynard, 37, was sentenced to eight to 10 years in prison for multiple charges, including burglary, failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer and receiving stolen property (5 counts). Two additional counts of receiving stolen property were dismissed. Maynard also received 18 months to three years of mandatory post-release control and his driver’s license is suspended for eight years. The suspension took effect July 30, 2023. He was granted 93 days of jail credit for time already served at RCSO.
— Madison Sexton, 25, was accepted into Richland County Substance Abuse Treatment Court on June 10. Sexton was indicted on possession of cocaine in August 2024. Her case has been transferred to SATC for all further proceedings.
— Scotty Patterson, 37, received 30 months of community control for one count of possession of a fentanyl-related compound. Patterson was also ordered to pay $40 to the MPD crime lab and is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Debra Allamon, 66, was accepted into Richland County Substance Abuse Treatment Court on June 10. Allamon was indicted on possession of cocaine in October 2024. Her case has been transferred to SATC for all further proceedings.
— Shelbi Ruckman, 33, was sentenced to 12 months in prison for one count of possession of a fentanyl-related compound. Ruckman must also pay $40 to the MPD crime lab. She is subject to up to two years of post-release control and was granted 48 days of jail credit for time already served at RCSO.
— George Green, 51, received four years of community control for one count of possession of a fentanyl-related compound. Green must also pay $40 to the MPD crime lab and is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Jeremy McClung, 40, was sentenced to 30 months in prison for two counts of aggravated possession of drugs, which were merged. One count was amended from a second degree felony to a third degree. An additional aggravated possession of drugs charge was dismissed. McClung is subject to up to two years of post-release control and was granted 79 days of jail credit for time already served at RCSO.
— Bradley Quesenberry, 37, had his case dismissed without prejudice on June 4. Quesenberry was originally indicted on two counts of rape and three counts of gross sexual imposition in March 2025. Any and all warrant(s) were recalled and his court costs were dismissed.
— Dawnyn Rosado, 37, received 30 months of community control, to be transferred to the State of New York, for two counts of receiving stolen property and one count of fraudulent actions concerning a VIN. Three additional counts of fraudulent actions concerning a VIN were dismissed, as well as one count of improper use of a certificate of title. Rosado was ordered to make restitution in the amount of $502.29 to the Richland County Prosecutor’s Office and $666.40 to RCSO. Rosado is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Mikayla Bellamy, 30, received four years of community control for one count of aggravated possession of drugs. Bellamy was also ordered to pay $40 to the MPD crime lab and is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Cameron Bailey, 24, was sentenced to 36 months of community control for an amended domestic violence charge. An additional count of domestic violence was dismissed. Bailey is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Ronald Fowler, 35, received a 36-month prison sentence for multiple charges, including domestic violence (2 counts), cruelty to companion animals and criminal damaging or endangering. Fowler also received one to three years of mandatory post-release control. He is subject to up to two years of post-release control and was granted 107 days of jail credit for time already served at RCSO.
— Jessica Eaton, 32, was accepted into Richland County Substance Abuse Treatment Court in June. Eaton was indicted on possession of cocaine in February 2025. Her case has been transferred to SATC for all further proceedings.
— Steven N. Erwin, 49, was sentenced to eight months in prison for one count of possession of cocaine. Erwin must also pay $40 to the MPD crime lab. He is subject to up to two years of post-release control and was granted five days of jail credit for time already served at RCSO.
— Jerome Clemons, 47, received a two-year prison sentence for multiple charges; aggravated possession of drugs, possession of cocaine (2 counts), possession of a fentanyl-related compound and possession of drugs. Clemons must also pay $200 to the MPD crime lab. He is subject to up to two years of post-release control and was granted 67 days of jail credit for time already served at RCSO.
— Peter Schlitt, 63, was sentenced to six months in prison for one count of possession of cocaine. Schlitt must also pay $40 to the MPD crime lab. He is subject to up to two years of post-release control and was granted 33 days of jail credit for time already served at RCSO.
— Keshawn D. Cobb, 29, received a six-month prison sentence for one count of vandalism. Cobb was also ordered to make restitution in the amount of $1,072.50 Cobb is subject to up to two years of post-release control and was granted three days of jail credit for time already served at RCSO.
— Darial Boyd, 45, was sentenced to six months in prison for one count of possession of cocaine. Boyd was also ordered to pay $40 to the MPD crime lab. Boyd is subject to up to two years of post-release control and was granted two days of jail credit for time already served at RCSO.
— Kalib Kitwana, 24, was accepted into Richland County Substance Abuse Treatment Court in June. Kitwana was indicted on aggravated possession of drugs in May 2024. Kitwana’s case has been transferred to SATC for all further proceedings.
— Jaya Horton, 31, received four years of community control for two charges; aggravated possession of drugs and possession of drugs. Horton must also pay $120 to the MPD crime lab. Horton is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Samantha E. Maynard, 26, was sentenced to four and a half to six and a half years in prison for burglary and two counts of receiving stolen property. Maynard also received 18 months to three years of mandatory post-release control. She was granted 57 days of jail credit for time already served at RCSO.
— Dustin C. Alsept, 32, received 30 months of community control for one count of possession of cocaine. Alsept must also pay $40 to the MPD crime lab. He is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Desirea Halcomb, 35, was sentenced to 24 months in prison for multiple charges, including assault (2 counts), resisting arrest and obstructing official business. Halcomb is subject to up to two years of post-release control and was granted 105 days of jail credit for time already served at RCSO.
— Vincent Wayne Horsley, 34, received a 24-month prison sentence for one count of violating a protection order and one count of menacing by stalking. Eleven additional counts of violating a protection order and one additional count of menacing by stalking were dismissed. Horsley is subject to up to two years of post-release control and was granted 72 days of jail credit for time already served at RCSO.
— Curtis Howell, 40, was sentenced to six months in prison for one count of aggravated possession of drugs. Howell must also pay $40 to the MPD crime lab. He is subject to up to two years of post-release control and was granted four days of jail credit for time already served at RCSO.
— Zachariah Zacharzuk, 30, received a six-month prison sentence for one count of breaking and entering. Zacharzuk is subject to up to two years of post-release control and was granted four days of jail credit for time already served at RCSO.
