Eric Paul Shelton passed away Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2016 in his home. He was 42.
He was born March 3, 1974 in Salisbury, North Carolina to parents Thomas E. Shelton & Marlene Nail. After he was graduated from Clear Fork High School with the class of 1992, he proudly served his country by joining the U.S. Marine Corps. Reserves.
Eric worked at Tricor Industrial in Wooster as an electrician. He always enjoyed sports, playing about all of them, but his favorites were football and fishing.
He is survived by mother Marlene Nail, of Wilmington, North Carolina; father Thomas E. Shelton, of Bellville; sister Jeanie Shelton Brown, of Wilmington, North Carolina; niece Mary Catherine Brown; grandmother Lela Shelton.
Eric was preceded in death by grandfathers George Shelton and John Sidney Nail; grandmothers Eloise Green and Catherine Nail and brother-in-law Dwayne Brown.
Friends will be invited to call on Eric’s family Monday, Sept. 19, 2016 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home.
