MANSFIELD — The third annual Craft, Antique & Shabby Chic Extravaganza will offer a little bit of everything at the Richland County Fairgrounds.
Set for April 26 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., the extravaganza is free to attend and provides the perfect opportunity for shoppers to find gifts for Mother’s Day or even an early start on Christmas shopping.
Show coordinator Kathi Cutlip-Mills, who also sits on the Richland County Agricultural Society Board of Directors, said more than 70 vendors are scheduled to attend.

A wide variety of items will be offered by vendors, ranging anywhere from plants to jewelry and wood crafts to baked goods.
Vendors will be located in Fairhaven Hall and scattered around the grounds for attendees to browse at their leisure.
Other offerings will include decorative towels, kitchen essentials and wooden yard decor.
“They (shoppers) can come in and have breakfast, because the cafeteria will be open,” Cutlip-Mills said. “They can go shop and stick around and have lunch.”
All registration fees paid by vendors go directly back to the fairgrounds to help with maintaining, repairing and updating buildings around the grounds.
The Richland County Fairgrounds are located at 750 N. Home Road in Mansfield.
The value of volunteering
Cutlip-Mills is involved in several community events beyond the extravaganza, including the Richland County Fair.
She’s also spent more than 20 years helping organize Mansfield’s annual Heart of the City Cruise-In — which will be at the fairgrounds this year due to on-going construction in downtown Mansfield.
She also helped organize the Miss Ohio parade for 14 years, along with the city’s Christmas parade for three years.
“I believe in giving back to your community,” she said. “There’s volunteer opportunities out there that can utilize everybody’s talents, skills and their time.”
