Max Eugene Moore aged 64, passed away at home Friday March 28th.
Max was born January 16th, 1961, in Mansfield, Ohio to Dwight and Delores Moore. In his childhood, Max developed a love of the outdoors that he would later pass to his sons. He attended Madison High School where he was a 1979 graduate of the Machine Trades program.
Max worked as a truck driver and a press operator at Shiloh Industries in Mansfield for over 20 years. Max also spent some time as a bartender at Shag-a-Lees, a place that was very special to him. He was an avid fisherman with a love of Lake Erie that he shared with his sons, brothers and numerous friends on his countless trips. Max was also a very talented guitar player and an excellent golfer, both passions and skills that he passed to his first born Dustin. His greatest accomplishments were his children, especially Taylor who blessed him at age 39. He loved spending time with his kids, from coaching the boys when they were young to watching countless thunderstorms roll in on the front porch with his special little “Tato Bug”.
He is survived by his children Jerryd Moore and Taylor(Zac) Lykins of Mansfield. Grandchildren, Alexis Macy, Gavin, Kenzleigh and Malachi. His siblings Cindy Moore Of Athens Ohio. Dennis Moore of Mansfield and Karl (Kathy) Moore of Crestline.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his son Dustin Moore.
He was very loved and he will be greatly missed. There will be no services in accordance with his wishes but the family is planning a celebration of life at a later date.
