Nadine Rachele Dawe Kepoo, of Loudonville, Ohio passed away Thursday, February
27, 2025, surrounded by her family. Nadine, 59, was born on March 29, 1965, in
Cleveland, Ohio to the late Robert Francis and Mary Florence Dawe.

Nadine attended St. Ingnatius of Antioch grade school and St. Joseph Academy High
School. Shortly thereafter, Nadine moved to southern Ohio, an area where she spent
her childhood camping with the family. Here she raised her wonderful children Alexis
and John while receiving an accounting degree from North Central State College. She
was always good with numbers and was a lifelong learner, always eager to try a new
academic adventure, from veterinary tech courses to furthering her accounting degree.
Nadine can be remembered as being humorous and smart! She was the “jane of all
trades” whether you needed financial assistance during her employment at Park
National Bank, a recommendation on the latest skin care, or your taxes completed, she
had many talents.

In addition to her love for music from classic country to classic rock, Nadine’s interests
included pets and politics. Nadine had a love for animals, wanting to ensure their safety
and protection. This love for animals may have started at an early age when a goat at
the Cleveland Zoo tried to eat her dress! As far as politics, Nadine was strong willed,
standing up for who and what she believed in, and was not afraid to share her thoughts
and opinions. Nadine also loved crafting, and her favorite holiday was Christmas as
she loved decorating the house.

You may remember Nadine’s smile, or possibly smirk, that always kept you wondering
what she was thinking or what she was up to. Nadine was a no-frills kind of person; you
could find her most days running around town in her classic turtleneck and blue jeans.
She had the skin of an angel, drawing attention to her big blue eyes. And although a
simple person, her auburn hair had the latest style, her make-up was always done, and
she didn’t leave the house without a spritz of her signature perfume.

Nadine was a protector of those in her work and in her family life, helping to guide, give
strength and provide comfort to those around her.

Nadine is survived by her husband Rich Kepoo of Loudonville, children Alexis Boyer
(Ben Sloan) of Findlay, Ohio, John Boyer of Loudonville, Ohio, her sister Joy Dawe
(Greg Muffler) of Raleigh, NC and nieces, Nicole and Sydney. Nadine was over the
moon for her grandson Henry, and we are so grateful for the beautiful moments he
brought to her. In honor of Nadine and what would have been her 60th birthday, a
celebration of her life will be held with her family on March 29, 2025. Memorial gifts
may be made in her name to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to
Animals (ASPCA) by visiting their website.

Grieve not, nor speak of me with tears, but laugh and talk of me as though I were
beside you still. I loved you so, ‘twas Heaven here with you.
