MANSFIELD – Mid-Ohio ESC is thrilled to share that Amy Wood, Director of Grants & Special Projects, was awarded the Economic Excellence Award at the Richland Area Chamber & Economic Development annual meeting and Economic Excellence Dinner on Feb. 12.

This acknowledgment celebrates her significant contributions to workforce development.

“I am truly honored to receive this recognition from the Richland Area Chamber & Economic Development,” Wood said.

“I’m especially proud of the growth of the Business Advisory Council and the incredible partnerships that make this work possible.

“This award is a testament to the power of collaboration in creating programs that not only prepare students for successful careers but also help employers build a strong, skilled workforce that strengthens our local economy.”

The Economic Excellence Award is given to those who have made meaningful impacts on the local economy.

Amy’s leadership of the Mid-Ohio ESC Business Advisory Council is grounded in her passion and dedication to connecting business and education for the betterment of students,” Kevin D. Kimmel, MOESC Superintendent stated.
