Dean L. Patterson of Mansfield, Ohio, passed away in November of 2024 at the age of 78.
He was born on March 27, 1946, in Butler, Ohio, to Marion E. Patterson and Elizabeth Irene Patterson, and was the eldest of three children. Dean graduated from Clear Fork High School in 1964 and proudly served his country as a Marine during the Vietnam War.
Known for his passion and talent in art, design, and drawing, Dean created many works throughout his lifetime that will be cherished by family and friends. He was also a cat lover, enjoying the companionship and affection of numerous cats over the years.
Dean is survived by his siblings Marlene Patterson (Edna Bohannon) of Santa Rosa, California, Steve
(Deb) Patterson of Mansfield, Ohio; his niece and nephew, Katie (Andrew) Willis of Mansfield, Ohio, and Brian (Shayla) Patterson of Mansfield, Ohio; as well as his great-nieces, Hailey, Brianna, and Grace. His parents, Marion E. Patterson and Elizabeth Irene Patterson preceded him in death. A private memorial will be held by the family at a later time.
