Branch of service: Army staff sargent
Dad raised 4 boys and his extraordinary love for his wife, Dolly Partin-Hardwick, was revealed in 2013 when he was honored by MedCentral Hospice with caregiver of the year when she passed after a grueling 19 year battle with Parkinson's. He earned the eternal praise from his boys and wife's family for his loving compassion. He earned his Sargeant stripes in the Korean War when his commander discovered his unique ability to repair radios after his first artillery observer mission. After that mission, he repaired radios for the rest of his tour.
