CRESTLINE — Summer vacation brought a chance to jump into a virtual time machine this week for a handful of Crawford County youngsters.

The children got to live the “50”s at the Crestline Public Library summer reading program.

“On Your Marks, Get Set, Read” encourages children to continue with their interest in books outside the parameters of the classroom.

In this event they enjoyed playing hop scotch, hula hoops, checkers, jump rope, dance at a “sock hop,” and watched an episode of ” I Love Lucy.”
