LOUDONVILLE — Hillsdale’s Owen Sloan ran for 168 yards and three touchdowns to spearhead Hillsdale’s 42-7 win at Loudonville on Friday night.

Kael Lewis and Holland Young connected on a pair of touchdown passes for the Falcons, while Brock Bower contributed a 10-yard TD dash as much of the second half was played with a running clock.

Sloan first cracked the scoreboard with a 1-yard run for a 7-0 Hillsdale lead at the end of the first quarter.

The Falcons (3-0) reeled off three touchdowns in the second period to put the game out of reach.

Sloan ripped off a 75-yard TD dash, and Lewis and Young clicked on scoring passes of 75 and nine yards for a 28-0 halftime bulge.

Sloan’s 9-yard scoring bolt finished the opening drive of the second period, ensuring the remainder of the second half would be played with a running clock.

Bower’s touchdown blast made it 42-0 heading to the final 12 minutes.

Loudonville (0-3) got on the scorerboard with 4:55 remaining in the game when Dilan Wade tossed an 11-yard TD pass to Josiah Hershberger.

Wade threw for 100 yards and ran for 60 more to top the Redbirds’ offense. Hershberger contributed 72 yards receiving.

Young had 96 yards receiving for Hillsdale, while Lewis threw for 169 yards.

The Falcons dominated the game statistically, too. Hillsdale owned an edge in first downs (18-9), passing yards (169-100), rushing yards (218-69) and total yards 387-169.

The Redbirds will try to break into the win column when they host East Knox on Friday night.
