Michael Eugene Rachel passed unexpectedly on July 19th 2024 after a tragic accident.
He was preceded in death by his parents Donald Eugene Rachel and Charlotte Faye (Metz)
Rachel; and his younger brother John Joseph Rachel.
Michael attended Mansfield Senior High School, North Central Technical College, and
served in the United States Navy. He was employed at Shaw’s Trash Services, J&M Pizza
Supply, Superior Dairy, Ellis Bros. Concrete, and Moritz Concrete.
Mike was a caring man who was loved by family and friends alike. He enjoyed fishing,
camping, motorsports, football, baseball, and spending time with family and friends. His favorite hobby was taking trips on his motorcycle whether by himself or with friends.
He is survived by his wife; Veronica (Stutz) Rachel; his children; Alixander Rachel, Anna
Harris, Margie James, and Sherri Sweeney; his father and mother-in-law; Charles Stutz, and
Kathy (Bays) Stutz; as well as many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Services will be held on Thursday July 25th at Ohio Cremation and Memorial Society located at 9 Chambers Rd, Ontario OH 44906. Calling hours begin at 2:30PM and memorial services will be at 3:30PM.
